As mandated by government, from Monday 31 August, New Zealanders will be required to wear a mask or face covering while travelling on public transport nationwide.
Passengers will be required to supply their own mask or face covering while travelling on our services from 31 August and it must remain securely fitted to your face for the duration of the journey. If you do not wear a mask, you will not be able to travel.
For information about masks and homemade face coverings, visit the official government COVID-19 website.
We will be operating at reduced capacity to allow social distancing under Alert Level 2.
Please stay home and do not travel if you are sick or have any of the following flu-like symptoms: a cough, high temperature of at least 38c, shortness of breath, sore throat, sneezing and runny nose or a temporary loss of smell. For more information, visit the official government COVID-19 website.
