We Will not be held responsible for costs due to not following these terms or not following any information provided by this website or bus drivers.

Pick Ups

You will

  • be ready for pickups 15 minutes prior to your departure time.
  • be visible to the bus driver and be on the right side of the road.

Times and Communications

In using our service, you agree to not hold us liable for any variances to arrival and departure times which can vary due to:

  • Weather conditions.
  • Previous late arrival of passengers.
  • Road works.
  • Road conditions.

 If we are running considerably behind schedule, we will do our best to contact you however we take no responsibility if you fail to provide us with a correct contact method or any cellular dead spots.

Add-Ons

Your seat fare allows you for 2 pieces of luggage of reasonable size. Prior to booking you can request extra baggage, bikes, surfboards (But not long boards) for an extra fee. Please call us +6427 201 8825 if you wish to take advantage of this. It’s at our drivers discretion as to what constitutes extra baggage.

Behaviour

When using our service, the consideration of our drivers and other passengers is paramount. You will:

  • Talk in a quiet friendly tone.
  • Be respectful to other passengers and driver.
  • Consume no alcohol or drugs on our bus.
  • Not smoke while on the bus.
  • not act loudly or show any distracting behaviour 

Departures

If you require a change in location to be dropped off different to your booking, let your driver know when you get on the bus. However, keep in mind:

  • If you would like to be let off before your booked stop, you will not be entitled to a partial refund. 
  • If you would like to be dropped off at a later stop, we may have to decline due to other bookings using your seat.
  • If we can allow you to carry on, we may charge you for the extra distance. 

You may request to be dropped off between stops however we cannot veer from the standard route. Let your driver know before departure.

It is best to plan your trip in advance and let us know by email book@eastwestcoaches.co.nz or phone +6427 201 8825 at least the day before.

Refunds

In the event you ned to cancel your booking, we require 24 hours’ notice.

  • Any cancelations greater than 24 hours before 7am of the day of departure will be entitled to the full refund - any booking fee.
  • Any bookings cancelled between 24 hours and 12 hours prior to 7am of the day of departure will be entitled to half the booking value - any booking fee.
  • Any cancelled bookings within 12 hours or on the day no-shows will not be applicable for any refund.

Failure to adhere to any of these conditions may result in refusal of service or removal from the bus and will forfeit any right to a refund.
